Assistant Property Manager Job Description

This role provides administrative support to senior property managers in the day-to-day management of commercial assets.

  • Support the team with daily activities associated with managing client portfolios.
  • Coding of invoices, financial accounting including accounts payable, receivable, and budgeting.
  • Raising purchase orders as required.
  • Arrears management.
  • Raising sundry charges as required.
  • Undertaking fixed, CPI, and assist with market rent reviews.
  • Lease maintenance to ensure information is up to date and correct.
  • Monthly tenant reporting which will include general issues, maintenance issues, upcoming works, relevant schedules, and arrears recommendations.
  • Monitoring and following up on any defects and ongoing maintenance of your portfolio, assigning works, and ensuring work orders are completed and actioned accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the property management team in their duties.
  • Code and manage financial documents.
  • Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage arrears and ensure timely payments.
  • Coordinate lease reviews and negotiate terms.
  • Ensure accurate lease documentation and maintenance records.
  • Prepare monthly reports for tenants and stakeholders.
  • Identify and address any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
