About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As a Trauma Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical services of the highest possible standard to Trauma Service patients. This will involve developing skills in being the Trauma Team Leader and facilitating patients' journey through the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to Trauma Service patients
  • Develop skills in being the Trauma Team Leader and facilitating patients' journey through the hospital
  • Participate in regular weekly clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care
Requirements
  • Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
  • Completed Basic Life Support (BLS) training and demonstrated clinical experience in Trauma medicine
  • Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of professional judgement and medical competence in a multidisciplinary setting
