About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Fellow to join our team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As a Trauma Fellow, you will be responsible for providing clinical services of the highest possible standard to Trauma Service patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate assessment and management of severely injured trauma patients
  • Develop skills in being the Trauma Team Leader and facilitate patients' journey through the hospital
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care
  • Participate in regular weekly clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities
  • Engage in continuous medical education activities
Requirements
  • Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
  • Completed Basic Life Support (BLS) training
  • Clinical experience in Trauma medicine
  • Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of professional judgement and medical competence
