We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Fellow to join our team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As a Trauma Fellow, you will be responsible for providing clinical services of the highest possible standard to Trauma Service patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide immediate assessment and management of severely injured trauma patients
- Develop skills in being the Trauma Team Leader and facilitate patients' journey through the hospital
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care
- Participate in regular weekly clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities
- Engage in continuous medical education activities
- Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
- Completed Basic Life Support (BLS) training
- Clinical experience in Trauma medicine
- Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of professional judgement and medical competence
