Field Service Mechanic - Heavy and Light Vehicle Specialist

Clark Equipment Sales Pty Ltd is a prominent distributor specializing in a range of machinery including Bobcat Skid Steer Loaders, Excavators, Develon Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Clark Forklifts, and various construction and agricultural equipment.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled Field Service Technicians or Mechanics to join our dynamic team. The role will involve working with our material handling equipment or focusing on light and heavy earthmoving machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
  • Adapt to both field and workshop settings, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or Light Automotive/Heavy Road Mechanics.
  • Proficient understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Possession of a full car license.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with heavy equipment.
  • Experience in hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Auto electrical expertise and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Automotive Air Conditioning license.
  • Relevant licenses such as MR, EWP, plant, and LPG.
  • Forklift License.

Training Opportunities:

For candidates lacking prior experience in material handling or construction, comprehensive training will be provided to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring confidence in handling equipment and systems.

We value punctuality and readiness to engage in an on-call roster as part of our operational requirements.
