Exciting Opportunity for a Field Service Technician

Dematic Pty Ltd, a world leader in integrated logistics and material handling, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our clients in the region.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer-focused individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving equipment faults, performing preventative maintenance, and providing emergency breakdown services. You will also be required to participate in a rotating on-call roster and work overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Provide emergency breakdown services to meet customer needs
  • Participate in a rotating on-call roster and work overtime as required

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified in Mechanical or Electrical
  • PLC experience desirable but not required
  • Experience in automation and material handling equipment highly regarded
  • Experience in computerized maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions
  • Strong understanding of OHS requirements and safe work practices
  • Current driver's license mandatory
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
