Exciting Opportunity for a Field Service Technician

Dematic Pty Ltd, a world leader in integrated logistics and material handling, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our clients in the region.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer-focused individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving equipment faults, performing preventative maintenance, and providing emergency breakdown services. You will also be required to participate in a rotating on-call roster and work overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified in Mechanical or Electrical (mandatory)
  • PLC experience (desirable but not required)
  • Experience in automation and material handling equipment highly regarded
  • Experience in computerized maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Experience in pneumatic systems
  • Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions, and be results-driven
  • Strong understanding of OHS requirements and adopt safe work practices
  • Current driver's license mandatory
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships
