Job Description

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a world-leading research university and contribute to a prestigious Australian Research Council Discovery Project. As a key member of our research team, you will investigate the governance of international public finance for energy projects, with a focus on how public financing bodies shape the energy sector and what global mechanisms can be used to govern them.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research and contribute to a collaborative project investigating global climate and energy governance.
  • Develop and implement research plans, methods, and tools to achieve project objectives.
  • Work closely with Associate Professor Christian Downie as part of the research team.
  • Communicate research findings clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will have a PhD in political science, international relations, regulation and governance or a cognate discipline, with a track record of peer-reviewed publications on global climate or energy governance.
