Midwife Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled midwife to join our dynamic postnatal ward team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of midwives, obstetricians and neonatologists in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based midwifery care, providing exceptional patient experience, liaising with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient and staff safety, supervising and guiding midwifery and nursing team members, delivering education and support to mothers and their families.

Required skills and qualifications include current midwifery registration with AHPRA, current NSW working with children check, proven experience in a similar role, special care nursery experience advantageous, compliance with ACQSHC national standards, sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work well independently and within a team.
