About the Role

The position of a NDIS Support Coordinator involves exploring participants' unique needs, identifying the services and support required to achieve their goals, and ensuring these services are accessible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building strong relationships with participants, their families, and external service providers
  • Assisting participants in understanding their NDIS plans, budget, and connecting with service providers on their behalf
  • Safeguarding participants' wellbeing and raising any concerns
  • Applying a holistic approach to capacity building and helping participants to overcome barriers
  • Ensuring service agreements and bookings are completed accurately
  • Preparing and recording invoices, NDIA reports, and case notes

Requirements

We seek someone with a solid understanding of the NDIS, able to comprehend its facets and components. You must be an excellent communicator, skilled at motivating and building rapport with participants, their families, and service providers. Proficiency in administration, compliance capabilities, and IT skills, particularly with Excel and Outlook, is also essential.

In addition to the above requirements, you must possess a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and NDIS Worker's Screening Check/Yellow Card, or the willingness to gain these clearances if successful. We will reimburse you the cost of these checks upon commencing. A 'Fit2Work' Police Check may also be required.
