NDIS Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced NDIS Support Worker to join our team in North Brisbane. As an NDIS Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to clients with varying needs and abilities.

About the Role

You will work within a person-centered environment that respects clients' rights and needs. Your primary duties will include:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, domestic duties, daily errands, companionship, and support;
  • Providing support with social and recreational activities;
  • Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting with medications;
  • Observing, caring for, and reporting any changes in clients' health and wellbeing;
  • Responding to emergency situations;
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum Certificate III in Individual Care/Aged Care or equivalent;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges;
  • A current National Police Check;
  • A current First Aid & CPR certificate;
  • A current unrestricted driver's licence;
  • Medication Assistance (desirable);
  • A reliable, well-maintained vehicle;
  • Comprehensive car insurance;
  • NDIS Worker Screening including Blue Card (or equivalent).
