Key Technical Leader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced key technical leader to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of private investing in Australia. You will have the chance to work on foundational tech, not maintaining legacy systems.

  • Guide a small engineering team to deliver a scalable, reliable platform.
  • Own end-to-end technical architecture and development across front-end, back-end, devops, and data.
  • Work closely with management, sales and operations to build features that matter.
  • Write code, solve architectural problems, run standups, and unblock your team.
  • Wear multiple hats, product thinking, infrastructure, data and everything in between.

You will have the opportunity to bring cutting-edge ideas to life, especially in areas like AI integration and data analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • 6+ years of software development experience, ideally in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong full-stack skills: ReactJS, Node.JS, SQL (Postgres or MySQL), REST APIs, cloud-native architecture (ideally AWS).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, version control, and devops workflows.
  • Previous leadership experience (formal or informal), ideally in a startup or scale-up.
  • Clear communication and product intuition — you know how to translate business needs into elegant tech solutions.
  • A builder's mindset: pragmatic, curious, collaborative, and delivery-focused.
