Job Title: Middle School Track Coach

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team-oriented professional who will assist in administering the track and field program under the leadership of the Head Coach and Athletic Director. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with student athletes, promoting discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Coach and provide direction to student athletes to achieve a high level of skill
  • Develop and implement training programs and practice schedules as assigned by the head coach
  • Ensure proper storage, maintenance and inventory of all athletic equipment and uniforms
  • Supervise students in locker rooms at home and away contests and ensure appropriate behavior
Requirements
  • Track and Field experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Criminal history clearance (background check and HB 2062)
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • NFHS Coaching Education certified
