Assistant Track Coach - Middle School

We are seeking a results-driven professional to assist in administering the track and field program under the leadership of the Head Coach and Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and direction to student athletes to achieve a high level of skill and appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the head coach to plan and set up activities, practices, and contests.
  • Develop effective training programs and practice schedules as assigned by the head coach.
  • Ensure the proper storage, maintenance, and inventory of athletic equipment and uniforms.
  • Supervise student athletes on the team bus during travel to and from contests.
  • Present a professional image during contests and public functions.
  • Enforce disciplinary policies and emphasize sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles.
Requirements:
  • Experience in track and field is essential.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Criminal history clearance and CPR certification are mandatory.
  • NFHS Coaching Education certification is necessary.
