Job Description

We are seeking a talented Learning Content Developer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create engaging learning activities and assessments that equip employees with the skills, knowledge, and abilities they need to succeed.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • FOLLOWING A GAP ANALYSIS OF CURRENT CONTENT AGAINST REQUIREMENTS AND PRESENTING A SOLUTION FOR ONLINE LEARNING STRUCTURE
  • CREATING STORYBOARDS BASED ON LEARNING NEEDS
  • ORGANISING CONTENT TO BE SUITABLE FOR ONLINE COURSE DELIVERY
  • DEVELOPING ONLINE COURSES (USING COMPANY'S STANDARD AUTHORING TOOLS) AND ACTIVITIES TO MEET LEARNING REQUIREMENTS IN SUPPORT OF BUSINESS INITIATIVES
  • WORKING WITH THE LINE MANAGER AND SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS (SMEs) WITHIN THE BUSINESS TO DEVELOP LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND ASSESSMENTS
  • PREPARING CLEAR AND RELIABLE BRIEFING DOCUMENTS FOR TRAINING TEAM AND SMEs
  • DEVELOPING MULTIMEDIA ELEMENTS SUCH AS GRAPHICS, ANIMATIONS, VIDEOS AND INTERACTIVE ELEMENTS TO SUPPORT THE EFFECTIVE USE OF E-LEARNING
  • MAINTAINING QUALITY ASSURANCE PROCESSES AND PROTECTING THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN E-LEARNING MATERIALS DEVELOPED FOR THE BUSINESS
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH AUTHORING TOOLS Articulate 360, Articulate Storyline AND RISE
  • PROFICIENT IN THE USE OF Adobe products AND MICROSOFT OFFICE
  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN CREATING STORYBOARDS AND E-LEARNING DEVELOPMENT
  • EXPERIENCE IN CREATING HIGH-QUALITY MULTIMEDIA RESOURCES FOR USE IN ONLINE COURSES
  • UNDERSTANDING SCORM PACKAGE AND LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
  • DEMONSTRATED EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNICATING (WRITTEN AND VERBAL) WITH COLLEAGUES AND TEAM MEMBERS, SMEs AT ALL LEVELS
  • STRONGLY DEVELOPED WRITING, PROOFREADING, EDITING AND FORMATTING SKILLS
  • KNOWLEDGE OF ASQA STANDARDS AND HOW TO IMPLEMENT THEM WITHIN A CORPORATE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
  • SOLUTION-FOCUSED APPROACH AND ABILITY TO DEAL WITH ISSUES AND CHANGE IN A PROACTIVE, POSITIVE AND DYNAMIC WAY WITH THE ABILITY TO MEET TIGHT DEADLINES WHILE MAINTAINING QUALITY
  • EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND A HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL
  • ABILITY TO DEMONSTRATE INITIATIVE, WORK AUTONOMOUSLY AND POSITIVELY CONTRIBUTE TO A TEAM
  • QUALIFICATION IN IT/DESIGN/LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OR A RELATED DISCIPLINE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
