Job Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Case Officer to join our national program.

This role offers a generous hourly rate with accrued leave overtime and 15.4 superannuation.

You will work in a supportive environment where employee well-being is prioritised with access to a range of support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with applicants, nominees and relevant institutions regarding decision making processes.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, including report writing, case notes and official documents.
  • Advise applicants on relevant legislation, policy, procedures and payments.
  • Resolve applicant enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret complex information and identify key aspects to support validation, assessment and recommendation processes.
  • High level research and analytical skills to make accurate conclusions based on information and evidence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex changing environment.
  • Empathy and understanding, with the ability to communicate effectively in a trauma-informed way.
  • Sound judgement and logical reasoning in decision making.
