About the Role

We're seeking a casual Paralegal to join our Government & Administrative Law team in Sydney. The team acts for a broad range of clients, including Commonwealth Departments and Agencies, primarily in Public Law litigation.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of an experienced Partner and the broader team, with a varied workload and responsibilities including:

  • Preparation of tribunal and court documents
  • Summarising medical and other records
  • Preparation and review of summonses
  • Drafting letters of instructions to experts and briefs to investigators
  • Drafting and collating briefs to Counsel
  • Preparing chronologies
  • Legal research and summaries
  • General paralegal duties

About You

This position is suited to a law student in their third year, ideally with at least 12 months' of paralegal experience. We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in developing in the public law space, a willingness to work collaboratively, and excellent organisational skills.
