Role Overview

">Social Work Professional

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated social worker to join the department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. You will be part of a large, dedicated and highly skilled team working with culturally and socially diverse patients and their families.

The successful candidate will provide support to other areas within the hospital as required and be involved in ongoing participation in the after-hours on call crisis service, including weekends.

We have a suite of wellbeing initiatives occurring across the department to make sure we're caring for ourselves as well as our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social work services to patients and their families in accordance with NSW Health policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Holds a Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Knowledge, skills and clinical experience in social work clinical practice.
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
