Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring quality standards are met;
  • Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment;
  • Perform inventory controls and maintain high-quality standards for audits;
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary;
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and state safety regulations;
  • Operate and maintain preventive warehouse vehicles and equipment;
  • Foster a culture of quality service and compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations;
  • Manage warehouse staff;
  • Conduct inventory checks;
  • Inspect equipment and tools;
  • Maintain safety standards;
  • Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Requirements:

- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License;

- Forklift Certification;

- Experience working with Excel Tracker;

- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker;

- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods;

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
