Job Description:

Sydney International Food Preparation Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Preparation Expert to join our fast-paced food preparation team at Sydney International Lounges. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring food products.
  • Execute cooking techniques and methods under the guidance of senior chefs, including grilling, frying, baking, sautéing, and more.
  • Follow established recipes and instructions for the preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • Assist in the assembly and plating of dishes, ensuring they meet established standards for portion size and presentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum Cert IV cookery trade qualification.
  • Previous experience in a luxury 5-star environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • MUST have full working rights within Australia.
  • Ability to pass a federal police background security check.
