About the role:
As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations and ensuring exceptional customer experience and service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales and profitability through product knowledge, positive staff culture, and attentive customer engagement.
- Providing strong leadership and coaching to develop a high-performing retail team.
- Ensuring the store adheres to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Analysing sales data and store performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Liaising with head office on operational matters and implementing new initiatives.
- Creating a positive in-store environment that encourages customer loyalty.
- Managing day-to-day store operations, including cash handling, merchandising, and loss prevention.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Retail Store Manager, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the footwear or retail environment.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving store performance.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using retail management software and data analysis tools.
