The Procurement Leadership Role is pivotal in driving business success by overseeing the procurement process, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Determine purchasing strategies, policies, and plans to achieve optimal stock levels at minimum cost.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply demands and control stock levels.
- Liaise with other departments and customers regarding requirements for outward goods and associated transportation.
- Oversee the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions.
- Direct staff activities and monitor their performance.
