Are you a seasoned procurement expert looking to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and forge strong supplier relationships? We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our organisation.The role of Procurement Specialist is pivotal in developing and executing procurement strategies that align with our organisational objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Analyse market trends, data, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions that add value to our operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring that risk mitigation and performance monitoring measures are in place.
  • Develop and implement competitive sourcing activities, such as tenders and eAuctions, to ensure best-in-class outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, driving collaboration and performance excellence.
  • Promote alignment with global procurement standards while supporting local business needs and goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or Finance.
  • 3-5 years' experience in procurement or commercial roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
