Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compositor to join our team of visual effects artists. As a Senior Compositor, you will be responsible for combining live-action and computer-generated elements into seamless visual effects shots that meet the creative vision and direction of our clients and Visual Effects Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Compositing Supervisor and VFX Supervisor to evaluate and develop approaches for assigned shots
  • Create high-quality, complete shots that maintain the overall look, color balance, and quality for assigned shots and sequences
  • Work with the team to determine various aesthetic solutions and provide feedback to other members of the production
  • Mentor and assist Apprentice/Jr. Artists with their shots
  • Meet defined milestones within a timeline and attend dailies to contribute to creative problem-solving
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in feature film visual effects
  • Proven ability to create high-quality compositing work, as demonstrated by a showreel or portfolio
  • Fluency in Nuke and experience with Python and/or C++ are a plus
  • Ability to write Nuke gizmos is a plus
