About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Assistant (Teacher Aide) to join our vibrant Primary School team at John Paul College.
As a key member of our education support team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, fostering a love for learning and creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
The successful candidate will assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities, provide one-on-one or small group support to students, and help create a welcoming and motivating classroom environment.
The Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Assisting classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons and activities
- Providing individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
- Preparing classroom materials and resources as directed by the teacher
- Supervising students during school activities
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Education Support and possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card Services, Queensland) and a valid First Aid qualification are also essential requirements for this role.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
