We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual to join our cleaning team. As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of client sites to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mop floors and clean up spills
  • Sweep and vacuum
  • Wipe and dust
  • Clean windows
  • Clean toilets and toilet facilities
  • Polish (by hand or machine)
  • Decant cleaning chemicals
  • Operate cleaning equipment
  • Move stock and equipment on site
  • Inform management if stocks of consumables are running low
  • Empty rubbish receptacles, replace bin liners, and dispose of waste in the correct location
  • Remove litter and debris from external areas
  • Record communications regarding clients, quality, equipment, or after-hours messages

Equipment Safety and Maintenance:

  • Use equipment properly, safely, and maintain it in good order
  • Treat equipment with care
  • Check the condition of equipment before use
  • Promptly prevent the use of faulty or suspected dangerous equipment
  • Clean equipment after use

Safety Protocols:

  • Ensure safe work practices are used on site
  • Comply with WHS policies and procedures
  • Promptly report any unsafe working conditions

  • Understanding of OHS requirements
  • Attention to detail
