Job Title:

Primary School Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced educator to lead our Primary School as Head of Primary.

This is a pivotal leadership role that requires strong, visionary leadership to advance the College's mission of academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the Primary School Leadership Team to provide clear accountability and strategic direction aligned with the College's Christian ethos.
  • Oversee the recruitment, performance management, and professional development of all Primary School teaching and support staff, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Maintain student academic progress, wellbeing, and behaviour, implementing pastoral care strategies that foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
  • Manage key school events such as graduation ceremonies, parent-teacher nights, sports days, and special celebrations.
  • Participate actively in the enrolment process and lead spiritual formation within the Primary School.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community to foster transparency and a positive school culture.
Essential Criteria:
  • A sincere and active faith in Jesus Christ, demonstrated through involvement in a local church community.
  • A strong passion for Christian education, with a commitment to integrating a biblical worldview into curriculum, pedagogy, and professional relationships.
  • Registered teacher with at least five years of classroom teaching experience.
  • Current certification in risk management and safeguarding.
  • Valid Teachers Registration in your state or territory.
Desirable Attributes:
  • At least two years of leadership experience within an educational setting.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in education, leadership, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching in a Christian environment.
