About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our data governance efforts as the Director of Data and Information Governance. This is a critical role that will play a key part in shaping our digital capabilities and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a best practice data governance framework that aligns with our digital and data strategies.
  • Cultivate a data-driven culture that enables seamless data sharing and innovative practices across the department.
  • Represent our organization in key government forums and working groups, influencing cross-jurisdictional and federal initiatives on data sharing and open data.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team that delivers impactful data governance solutions.

About You
  • Proven experience in data governance or data management, with a strong emphasis on data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship.
  • A commitment to fostering a workplace culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships that deliver collaborative, customer-focused outcomes.
  • A results-driven mindset, with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.
