Job Description

The role of Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is crucial in the design, building and support of hybrid cloud infrastructure and services at scale. This position requires close collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to evolve the infrastructure continuously and meet the growing needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with engineering teams and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Designing, building and supporting re-usable components of software and infrastructure for cloud environments.
  • Delivering build and release pipeline for software services and infrastructure in the cloud.
  • Utilizing infrastructure as code (terraform or equivalent) and config management to build and manage environments.
  • Continuously reviewing and managing risks associated with cloud environments.
  • Managing capacity planning of our growing AWS footprint.
  • Troubleshooting OS (Linux), storage, and network issues associated with the cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, architecture, infrastructure and automation tools.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to gauge business problems and prioritize tasks accordingly.
