About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a similar role within a diverse multi-disciplined organisation, supporting a People and Culture function while developing and mentoring a small team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design approaches to improve organisational, operational and people strategies addressing specific business imperatives that positively impact operational performance.
  • Utilise data analytics and reporting to advise and guide managers for effective decision-making, distilling information into key insights and clear recommendations.
  • Lead, develop and support the recruitment and people services team to meet service expectations, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.
  • Educate and influence stakeholders regarding the implementation of consistent HR strategy and practices on People and Culture strategy, framework, policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the organisation to provide comprehensive advice, education and service delivery, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
About the Individual:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with:

  • A Bachelor level qualification in Human Resources, Business, Law or a relevant field.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to deliver strategic advice to a broad customer group.
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills to drive change with key stakeholders and industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and respond to changing demands and priorities efficiently and effectively.
  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation and the interpretation of industrial instruments.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
