Job Title: Data Governance Leader

Experience in data governance is essential to drive quality, security and compliance across an organisation.

About the Role:

The Data Governance Leader will oversee the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures. This includes ensuring data accuracy, integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective data governance policies and procedures
  • Oversee data quality, security and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance alignment
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to achieve data governance objectives

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' experience in data governance or a related field
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor's degree in economics, commerce, finance, statistics or business)
  • Demonstrated expertise using complex queries with SQL
  • Demonstrated ability building complex data queries with PowerBI
  • Knowledge of Python desirable
  • Experience with contemporary data management systems preferred
