Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering robust data governance policies and practices.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data governance best practices and the ability to champion and support an organisational understanding of the role of data.

Key Responsibilities:
• Champion and support an organisational understanding of the role of data
• Develop and define data governance policies and procedures
• Define and monitor data quality across the organisation
• Monitor alignment to data governance policy, standards and best practices for data management
• Improve the design of data stewardship and governance processes in alignment with our data strategy and roadmap

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure
    • Experienced in Power BI
    • Exposure to GIT, Python and SQL
    • Demonstrated clear commercial outcomes of the work and projects delivered
    • Good understanding of data governance best practices
    • Good understanding of legal compliance requirements including the Privacy Act
    • Experience in definition of data governance policy, data management procedures, definition of data quality standards and monitoring adherence
    • Exposure to data governance principles and processes
