Job Title:

Mechanical Technician - Ongoing Position

Job Description:

The role of the Mechanical Technician is to provide support and maintenance for all mobile plant and equipment on site. This includes assisting with breakdown technical support, general servicing of mobile and fixed plant and machinery, scheduling servicing, repairs, alterations and breakdown maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade certification in Heavy Road Transport
  • Previous experience working on heavy machinery or mobile plant (advantageous)
  • For HV Mechanics, auto electrical knowledge is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer relations and problem-solving skills
  • Driver's license required
  • Ability to attain a Heavy rigid dangerous goods vehicle license
  • Ability to attain a National police clearance
  • Ability to attain Confined space and Working at heights certification
