Key Operations Coordinator

This role coordinates and organizes the daily automated packing of customer orders for DSL products, ensuring all shipments are prepared at agreed times to satisfy the identified needs of customers and the business at a world-class quality level. This role is integral to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • \
  • Coordinate and supervise resources (people and material) for automated packing of DSL products and customer orders.\
  • Manage the automated packing line, including cleaning equipment, preventive and on-going maintenance, maintenance of check weigher, x-ray and label printer, and developing procedures and work instructions.\
  • Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in full, including work allocation and relevant SAP transactions.\
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure transfer and staging of material into and out of packing/blending areas.\
  • Take ownership of Manufacturing-related processes being carried out real-time in SAP system.\
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.\\[/ul]\

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • \
  • A minimum five years' experience in a production, pick, pack or warehousing environment.\
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field.\
  • Good understanding of HACCP and food safety management systems.\
  • Demonstrated experience in operating automated equipment.\
  • Staff supervision desirable.\
