Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary interface between Product Supply (PS) organizations and country cluster category teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Evaluate sourcing options internally and externally, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and implement business cases for innovation and transfer projects, new launches, and strategic initiatives.
- Deliver end-to-end project management for strategic PS projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Improve supply resilience through proactive portfolio management and de-risking activities, enabling stable stock supply in periods of market shocks.
- Drive continuous gross-margin improvements, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
- Steer financials for NPDs, technical transfers, and critical changes, including CAPEX, one-time costs, and COGS evaluation.
- Lead supply network optimization, evaluating manufacturing options in line with APAC country clusters business strategies.
- Influence business building by ensuring the right PS capabilities and resources are available within the supply ecosystem to meet growth ambitions of the product team.
- Customer Service - Deliver best-in-class portfolio management with strong product availability, always aspiring to deliver customers with correct timing, cost, and format to meet their needs.
- Deliver product launches on time and within costs to fulfill launch excellence targets.
- Costs - Provide gross margin improvements in line with annual targets ($ net savings achieved, gross margin improved by target amount).
- Implement processes to ensure COGS increases remain below inflation.
- Resilience - Fulfill business and product resilience targets through the management of target capacity to demand ratios.
- Business building - Ensure the right product supply capabilities are within the category to meet category growth ambitions and win market share and market size.
- Margin - Implement key initiatives to deliver 2%+ year-on-year COGS reduction and offset at least inflation.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or Science.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge in legal, regulatory, and GMP requirements in an OTC medications, cosmetics, nutritional supply, or medical devices.
- A proven successful track record of working in materials management or product production and supply chain.
- Strong project management skills.
- Previous supplier selection experience.
- Exceptional analytical and P&L acumen.
- Demonstrated experience in driving complex projects with multiple independencies.
- Consumer-centric strategic thinking.
- Strong change management skills and willingness to act as a courageous change agent.
