About the Role

  • Provide respectful and tailored support to residents, empowering their choices and independence
  • Monitor residents' preferences, needs, and wellbeing, escalating any changes to ensure they receive the care they need
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care, to maintain dignity and comfort
  • Offer social and emotional support, creating a positive and engaging environment for residents
  • Keep residents mobile, assist with mealtimes, and encourage participation in lifestyle activities that promote physical and mental well-being
  • Document incidents and care, participating in Work Health and Safety programs to ensure a safe and secure environment

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for caring for others and a commitment to holistic care
  • A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies
  • Prior experience in aged care is an advantage, but we'll provide training for the right candidate
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to residents
