Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at St Vincent's Care Services in Werribee. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, and social activities.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, and using the bathroom.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in care planning and implementation, ensuring resident-centered care.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in aged care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
