Are you looking for a role that combines logistics and warehouse operations with hands-on work? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Logistics & Warehouse Employee in sunny Townsville. As a member of our Explosive Ordnance Services team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance, and disposal of systems across Australia.

This is a turnkey solution that offers huge opportunities for professional growth, allowing you to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations. Many of our team members started in this role and are now in leadership positions.

Your primary responsibilities will include marking and placing stores in stock, packaging for dispatch, participating in the movement of stores by road and within the depot, monitoring shelf life, and assisting with audits and inspections. You will also operate information systems for inputting and retrieving store information.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full driver's license
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with very good numeric, oral, and written communication skills
  • Experience within a warehousing and/or Defence environment would be an advantage
