Graphic Design and Technology Teacher Role

This is a full-time position that involves teaching graphic design and technology to students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inspiring creativity and problem-solving skills in their students.

About the Job

The Graphic Design and Technology Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons that cover areas such as digital design and emerging technologies. They will inspire students to explore how design thinking can be applied to real-world contexts.

The teacher will guide students in developing technical proficiency, from concept generation and digital modelling to prototyping and production, while encouraging critical reflection and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements

  • Guide students in developing technical skills in graphic design and technology

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
