About the RoleThis pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in regulatory policy and legislative reform to drive the development and implementation of innovative regulatory solutions. As leader of a dedicated project team, you will oversee the design and delivery of the Apprenticeships Regulatory Reform program of work, including policy design and legislative instructions.
You will engage strategically and collaboratively with key stakeholders across government, industry, and the training sector to implement the recommendations from the Apprenticeship Taskforce's Final Report. Your expertise will be critical in developing a modern, outcome-based regulatory framework that aligns with government priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the design and delivery of the Apprenticeships Regulatory Reform program of work
- Engage strategically and collaboratively with key stakeholders
- Provide high-level authoritative and technical advice to Cabinet, Ministers, and industry stakeholders
- Prepare documentation, including program/project management plans, schedules, and resource plans
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Executive management and leadership experience with technical proficiency in policy reform initiatives and strategic projects
- High-level strategic, problem-solving, conceptual, and analytical skills
- Knowledge and experience in regulatory and legislative reform, establishing new regulatory frameworks and models
