**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled Product Strategist to drive the success of our product category. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to optimise products, drive revenue growth, and enhance the overall customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for product development and management, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to select and curate products that meet customer needs and are competitive in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies.
  • Manage a diverse and appealing product category that meets the unique needs and desires of adventure and travel enthusiasts.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and exclusive partnerships.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from product selection and introduction to inventory management and clearance strategies.
  • Monitor and optimise inventory levels to minimise stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Monitor category performance and make recommendations to optimize product offerings, pricing, and promotion.
  • Set and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Gather customer feedback and use insights to make data-driven decisions for category improvement.
  • Ensure that all products comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold industry standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably in the consumer product, adventure and travel industries (minimum of 5 years).
  • Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset.
