Experienced Estates Paralegal Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our growing estates team in Brisbane CBD. As an experienced legal assistant/paralegal, you will support our Associate by preparing estate planning documents, assisting with probate or letters of administration applications, managing client queries, and coordinating tasks essential to estate litigation files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and Advance Health Directives for review by the Associate.
  • Handling estate administration tasks such as placing NOITA adverts and preparing probate filings.
  • Communicating with clients, answering their questions, and escalating complex issues to the Associate when necessary.
  • Gathering information for estate litigation matters and preparing draft family provision claim documents.
  • Working closely with Client Intake to streamline new enquiries and ensure prompt responses.
  • Managing estate planning signings, invoicing, and monitoring deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in property matters and holding a JP (Qual) or C.Dec is desirable but not mandatory.
  • A willingness to learn and a positive, team-oriented spirit.
