Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Dams Specialist to join our Service Enablement Headworks Team.

  • Lead effective and efficient asset management through innovative condition monitoring, strategic maintenance planning, and project development.
  • Conduct intermediate and comprehensive dam safety inspections, continuously monitor and respond to anomalies in dam surveillance data and field reports.
  • Provide dam safety subject matter expertise across the business, including on major capital projects and dam safety reviews.
  • Carry out assigned Asset Management tasks in line with Asset Management processes and procedures.
  • Develop business cases for capital projects, build and maintain positive customer and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Have a highly developed understanding and experience in dam safety management and dams engineering.
  • Have experience in risk-based lifecycle management of water industry assets or equivalent industry/infrastructure.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to prioritize complex professional/technical work with general supervision.
  • Be actively registered as an engineer in a related discipline relevant to the position.
