
Operations Incident Manager

About This Role
This position is responsible for ensuring the Incident Management system operates efficiently and effectively, managing incidents in line with established procedures. The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate advice to stakeholders on all incidents affecting the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance with occupational health and safety policies, safe work practices, and emergency protocols.
- Providing exceptional service to internal customers, including Woolworths Brands, Support teams, Contractors, and Emergency Services.
- Implementing Standard Operating Procedures to support business customers.
- Responding to calls from business customers and Emergency Services, updating relevant databases, and escalating matters as necessary.
- Maintaining and monitoring business alarms.
- Accurately recording reported incidents on the relevant system.
- Producing daily reports summarizing incident management activities.
Requirements
- A strong background in customer service.
- Excellent phone manner, with a friendly, polite, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective organizational skills, ability to multitask, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently when required.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and receptiveness to change.
- Responsibility, reliability, and a solid team player approach.
- Comfortable and confident in high-pressure situations.
- Availability to work rotating shifts (days/night/weekends) and additional shifts as needed.
