Senior Project Manager Role

This is a senior role that requires experience in project delivery. We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. The role involves leading projects from start to finish, managing people, processes, and finances with a focus on commercial success and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, a recognised degree in an engineering discipline or related tertiary qualification, and extensive experience in major project contract administration and management. Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems, and project management platforms is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee project progress, making high-level adjustments to staffing and resources to align with business goals.
  • Commercial Management: Lead contracts management, from RFI and variation approvals to negotiations and subcontractor performance.
  • Team Leadership: Provide visible, hands-on leadership, mentoring your team to ensure project objectives and company values are met.
  • Risk Management: Control project costs, monitor productivity, and implement risk mitigation plans to maintain positive cash flow and ensure project integrity.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior external clients and all project stakeholders.
