As an experienced mechanical designer, you will oversee a multi-disciplinary team of designers and drafters.

Key responsibilities include providing valued leadership, project management, and design modelling expertise.

Our team is currently working on exciting projects, including feasibility studies for significant infrastructure developments.

Working closely with an engineering manager, you will set technical standards to ensure quality and accuracy of design and drafting.

We are looking for a natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail.

As a lead mechanical designer, you will bring:

Experience gained on major infrastructure projects.

Relevant design qualifications - Advanced Diploma, Diploma, or Associate Degree.

Proficiency in relevant software.

Great interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.

Prior experience leading and mentoring small teams.

Willingness to be hands-on while also leading.

Current right to work in Australia.
