We are seeking an experienced Dam Engineer to join our team. As part of this role, you will be involved in a broad range of dams projects for various uses, including municipal, mining, and agriculture. Your technical expertise will include geotechnical, structural, and design management skills.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Providing technical delivery on dams projects
  • Participating in client relationship management, business development, proposal preparation, and technical analysis
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Project Management, including leading studies, preparing proposals, and forming project teams to deliver successful projects

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in dams engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil) or higher qualifications
  • Knowledge of dam design, including embankment and concrete dams
  • Experience in delivering dam safety reviews, dam break assessments, and other associated monitoring and analysis
  • Knowledge of spillway design, dam design, outlets, intake towers, and construction phase experience
  • Experience working in multi-disciplined teams

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. GHD offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment, where employees can thrive.
