About the Role:

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services. We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Finance Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Assist with the control of all financial and commercial aspects of contracts within the business unit, including managing invoice pools, ensuring accurate Q codes, and supporting the CS team with clearing overdue invoices.
  • Contract Monitoring: Monitor contracts OPO's over 60 days and support resolving issues, as well as monitor contract debt and support Contract Managers and Contract Support in resolving issues.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and issue weekly and monthly metrics documents, provide updates on team meetings, and prepare accurate reports for the Portfolio, which feed into Business Unit reports.
  • Procurement Support: Assist the BU Procurement Team with contract-related renewals for subcontractors, onboard new contracts' vendors, and co-own knowledge in MySupplier.
  • Contract Support: Ensure Contract Support new starters have all systems set up and necessary training has been carried out, provide ad hoc training for the Contract Support and Management team, and plan and lead regular Contract Support Meetings.
  • Systems Administration: Serve as a systems administrator for CBRE platforms like 4sight, CERM Quantum & QHSE Gateway, and support SMEs to grant access to new joiners.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on finance/accounting, basic invoices/billing/purchase orders.
  • Education: Accounting/Finance/Business Management or related field.
  • Good communication skills, confident to speak with diverse and multiple stakeholders.
  • Preference: Chartered Accountant (current/in progress).
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookups.
  • Meticulous, data-driven, and proactive, with a strong attention to detail.
