About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our team at Green by Nature. As an Apprentice Greenkeeper, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in sports turf management and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and beautify parks, gardens, and public spaces
  • Work alongside seasoned professionals to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Participate in weekly classroom learning sessions to enhance your understanding of sports turf management
  • Develop your skills in plant care and maintenance, plant nutrition programs, pest and disease management, and irrigation systems installation and maintenance

What You'll Learn

  • Plant care and maintenance
  • Plant nutrition programs
  • Pest and disease management
  • Irrigation systems installation and maintenance
  • Specialist transplanting, pruning and mowing operations
  • Safety protocols and equipment operation

About You

  • No prior experience required
  • Valid Drivers' license
  • Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
