About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our green spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and beautify parks, gardens, and public spaces
  • Work alongside seasoned professionals to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Participate in weekly classroom learning sessions to enhance your understanding of sports turf management
  • Contribute to the development of our green spaces through hands-on training and practical experience
What You'll Learn
  • Plant care and maintenance techniques
  • Plant nutrition programs and strategies
  • Pest and disease management methods
  • Irrigation systems installation and maintenance procedures
  • Specialist transplanting, pruning, and mowing operations
  • Safety protocols and equipment operation procedures
Requirements
  • No prior experience required
  • Valid Drivers' license
  • Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
