About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and beautifying parks, gardens, and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and care for sports fields and green areas, ensuring they are safe and visually appealing.
  • Assist in the implementation of irrigation systems, pruning, and mowing operations.
  • Participate in plant care and maintenance, including pest and disease management.
  • Collaborate with experienced mentors to develop your skills and knowledge in sports turf management.
What You'll Learn
  • Plant nutrition programs and soil management techniques.
  • Specialized transplanting, pruning, and mowing operations.
  • Safety protocols and equipment operation.
  • Team leadership and site management skills.
Requirements
  • No prior experience required, but a valid driver's license and Working With Vulnerable People Check are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
